Oscar and Patricia arrive on an ethnographic expedition to a secluded village in the Pyrenees, whose inhabitants are almost untouched by civilization. However, most mountaineers refuse to communicate with strangers. Only the young widow Trini decides to tell Patricia the ancient legend of the curse lying on these places. Impressed by what she heard, the girl tries to convince her companion to quickly leave this strange place, but Oscar only shrugs off superstitious fairy tales.
