Fernanda, nicknamed Colorina, works in one of the nightclubs of the Mexican capital as a dancer, if necessary, providing visitors and intimate services.
One day, one of her clients, Ivan (son of the country’s wealthy and well-known Almasan family), refuses to pay for Colorina’s work.
Colorina, accompanied by her best friend Rita, arrives at the Almasan family home in hopes of receiving money from Ivan’s relatives. There she meets Ivan’s brother, Gustavo Adolfo, and suddenly falls in love with him.
Gustavo Adolfo falls under the charm of Fernanda’s beauty and begins to date a girl. But love on his part is out of the question. Gustavo Adolfo is married and loves his wife. However, their marriage is marred by their wife’s illness and lack of children.
Gustavo Adolfo’s mother, the powerful Señora Almasan, learns about his son’s connection with a prostitute and decides to use this connection in the interests of the family. Señora Almasan offers Colorina a deal - Colorina gives birth to a child by Gustavo Adolfo and gives it to her father and grandmother forever. For the child, Colorina is promised a huge amount of money, enough to get out of poverty forever.
Colorina agrees to the offer, but soon after the birth of the child realizes that she will never be able to live with the thought that she sold her own son.
Bringing the baby back is not easy. After a series of unsuccessful attempts to negotiate with Senora Almasan and return her money, Colorina decides to steal the baby. In order to prevent the police from quickly identifying her, Colorina takes two more babies with her, abandoned in a cabaret by one of the dancers.
After 20 years, wealthy Señora Fernanda Alvarez, accompanied by three adult sons, arrives in Mexico City to show a new collection of women’s clothing designed by her studio.
At the screening, Mr. Alvarez meets a wealthy widower, lawyer Gustavo Adolfo Almasan. Gustavo Adolfo falls in love with Mrs. Alvarez without even knowing that Colorina is in front of him, and one of the young people accompanying her is his son. close
