As winter gives way to spring in the Russian wilderness, a crafty fox promptly expels a defenceless hare from his warm, comfortable residence, claiming the house for himself and leaving the poor owner to sleep outside under the stars. An assortment of compassionate animals – a wolf, a bear, a bull – take pity on the disheartened hare, and attempt to evict the cunning fox, but to no avail. Along comes a hilariously militant rooster, proud and tenacious, who marches into the hare's house and doesn't give up until the fox has been hounded back into the wilderness. close

Escape
In the camp, the children learn a fun dance with the teacher, but Komarov is bored. He sneaks into the thickets: there, in the fence, a torn board. Taking advantage of the goal, the child walks along the field path and meets an unusual live cone and a frog, and then a calf. For an urban boy, this is a discovery: it turns out that there are cubs in the world.
The path leads the boy to the edge of the forest. Twilight is thickening. Komarov shouts that it is too early, and runs into the gap between the trees. Having jumped out onto a hill overgrown with fluffy dandelions, the traveler again sees the sun, rejoices at the sunset and jumps. Here Komarova find a teacher and twins. Nin Palna is crying, she's scared. Mosquitoes with childish spontaneity pity his teacher and gives her all his wealth: a cone, a frog and a branch of nettles.
Voice
Svetlana Harlap worked on the role of Komarov. Her inimitable manner of voice made the cartoon one of the most beloved. It is such intonations, soft and confident, revealed the nature of mischievous restlessness. Komarov’s response to the remark that he was “heavy” became the national treasure: “This is me after lunch...” close
