Yolanda, left alone and penniless after the death of her father, gets a job in the house of the wealthy family Hidalgo del Castillo. Gonzalo del Castillo, who manages the affairs of the family, after seeing the girl, falls in love with her and, taking advantage of her plight, wants to get her mistress. Yolanda herself is in love with his brother, Juan Carlos, who, having received a doctor's degree, came home to rest. After learning about Yolanda’s situation, Juan Carlos becomes her protector. He has a fiancée, Sylvia Mijarez, who is trying to marry him in order to get money and an influential name that will help her succeed in the fashion world.
