This is a drama from the lives of five friends from the category of religious, but not from the ultra-Orthodox, but from the so-called srugim, religious Zionists, who are sometimes called knitted kippahs, because they wear kippahs tied with a hook. At first, we see that they adhere to religious rites and try to observe them, but gradually some are moving away from them. The main characters: three girls - Ifat, a graphic designer, Odaya, a university student, and Reut, an accountant at a large accounting firm, and two guys - Nati, a doctor, and Amir, a Hebrew teacher, all under 30 years old. They live in the area of Jerusalem called Katamon, where there are many like them, all of them already have education and profession, but one catch is that in religious families it is customary to marry early and have a fair number of children, and none of them, except Amir, never found a mate, Amir divorced his wife and now lives with Nati, i.e. again alone. All of them more or less regularly go on dates with potential suitors and brides, there this case is literally put on stream, but so far to no avail, it happens that they fall in love, but, as a rule, not in those who can reciprocate them. And so throughout the 45 not-too-long episodes, we watch their lives, how they look for something and someone, how they solve, but often create problems for themselves. None of them is neither simple nor easy, which complicates the process. In the end, only Amir and Ifat will get married, the others will continue to find their way, although in the end there will still be hope that, perhaps, after all their destructive actions, Odai will find happiness. Natia and Reut are still at a crossroads. I can’t say that the series strikes with a very fascinating plot and skill of the creators, it’s just a series about the lives of these people, but nevertheless it was quite interesting to watch, after all, this is a completely unfamiliar world to me – both Israeli and religious. Of course, it would probably be useful to better understand the realities of their lives, but there is nothing particularly complicated there. Well-chosen performers of the main roles, they, in my opinion, and the type is very suitable for their characters, and played well, almost none of the actors I do not know, I know only the actor Amos Tamam, who played the role of Amir, whom I saw in the series Manayek, and Zohar Strauss, who played the role of the beloved Odai Avri, whom I remember from the series Stiesel. The series was a success both in Israel and abroad.
