We have a kind of road movie about truck drivers, but you can come up with something there. What an interesting idea, I don’t even know by whom. Writer who saw trucks only in the picture, producers trying to shoot afterburners about truckers or anyone else was not. Whatever.
For lovers of long-range combat there is nothing to catch: here trucks play the role of furniture and nothing more.
For those of you who care about technology, too. A bunch of kinogaps, ranging from banalism in the form of shooting the cabin of Kenworth, and outside the Volvo VNL, ending with speedometers showing 0 and burning inappropriate control lamps.
Now for the movie itself.
Relatively cheerful, but empty plot, about ' good' poor in difficult situation and ' bad' rich. Look once and never remember again. The actors play tolerably, the production is generally quite good. Graphics in some places makes itself felt, but there is nowhere without it. Crushing a bunch of trucks for $200,000 each, apparently, Paccar can not afford.
But there is one big one to all this, I would even say huge 'NO'; This is what it is.
In fact, a trip on ice and in good weather is an idea, to put it mildly, for a triple - yes, it works, yes it is used on an industrial scale, but the risk is still greater than when driving on hard ground. Here there is an interesting plot: the season is over, and the cargo is too heavy for aviation, and time is running out and it would seem - what can go like this? It seems to me that it will be enough literally two or three long-range fighters that they throw you ideas not just for an hour and a half of the film, but also for a sequel, at least. Without any delusional chases, guns or anything like that. If the script was just about fighting the elements, it would be great, actually. But no, everyone wants to take another shot. Why?
Instead of output.
Very clumsy attempt to shoot some kind of afterburner, only with trucks. Whatever and why, I have no idea. The film didn’t go where it should because of it, he lost a lot.
