Quality science fiction. If you don't fall asleep in the first 17 minutes. There are, however, certain parallels with numerous Terminators. Starting with "I am Skynet" (Terminator 5: Genesis). A stingy male tear will roll from the eyes of the hero Luis Ku and remind the audience of "Chinese Time Patrol". (Oops! I confused Andy Lau with Louis Coo.) It's actually pretty good. I was reminded of the American blockbuster Turbulence. Traditionally, the slogan is “The universe may give up and we won’t.”
