Finnish justice If you periodically close your eyes, rub whiskey and paste tape on the floor, walking through the squares, a detective puzzle will form in your head. At least, the Finnish investigator Soryonen does so, and visiting, more precisely, the exiled star from Helsinki will rock the quiet, corrupt (where else) town of Lappeenranta with his methods and methods.
Lately, many detective series present the figure of the investigator as sociopathic, autistic, with their own methods that do not fit into the average framework. Here and the Swedish-Danish “Bridge” is remembered with an extremely specific Saga, and Luther in the series of the same name, walking on a knife blade, a depressed River with internal demons, a drug addict Stephen Holder with a workaholic partner from the American “Murder”. To be a quiet Poirot, Maigret or a nice old lady from She Wrote Murder is no longer fashionable. You can't just go and investigate a case. Finnish creators have come up with quite suitable, dynamic (it would seem) detective with interesting twists, but in fact, the ends of the stories do not shoot, and the stories themselves remain holes. They do not spoil the picture, but do not allow to make this series bright and special against the background of even the above. He lacked power, although there were growth points and at the end there was even a slight regret that there was no second season. The series could have opened up more. The hero himself is quite cute in his human qualities, the investigator, on whom his wife and daughter waved their hand, like your work is more expensive than all of us combined, which is already a familiar stamp. Almost none of the detectives have a normal personal life. But he steadfastly, in Finnish, endures female oppression and honestly does his job, causing admiration in some and irritation in others.
Well, it should be noted that against the background of our difficult foreign policy, the Finns also throw firewood. Whatever the problem is from Russia, or rather from nearby St. Petersburg. In quiet Finland, of course, there is nothing illegal, all from Russia with love. But they are so cute and monstrously portray a Russian accent that even I do not want to be indignant.
