Comments Off on The Boy and the Bird (2023):
On December 7, Hayao Miyazaki’s new animated work “Boy and Bird” is released in the Russian rental.
Yesterday I was lucky to watch this film 4 days before the national premiere.
To begin with, The Boy and the Bird was my first anime from Hayao Miyazaki.
I started expecting this anime after the first announcements, as well as after watching the trailer.
What can I say about this tape? Have my expectations been met? We'll find out!
“Boy and Bird” is a beautiful, magical fairy tale about the fact that our world is not perfect, but you need not despair about it, but you need to enjoy every day in your life, no matter how difficult it may be.
I liked the plot, it was not simple and surprisingly did not seem to me cliched, although it may be more read people than I, on the contrary, it will seem so.
The story fascinates from the first frames and does not let you go until the very end, the 124-minute timekeeping is easy, interesting and magical.
Animation, as in past films Miyazaki was at the highest level, I would like to note the colorful backgrounds, well-designed worlds and great character design.
The original soundtrack from Jo Hisaishi I also liked, the compositions perfectly suited to what is happening on the screen.
In the end, Boy and the Bird is a great, exciting, two-hour adventure that teenagers and adults will enjoy.
I’ll give this anime 10 out of 10 and recommend it!
