British TV series "Little Drummer Girl", based on the book by John le Carre famous Korean director Park Chang-ook, 2018. It all started with an explosion in the home of an Israeli attaché that killed his son. After this and other bombings, the Mossad decided to find the leader and organizers of this Palestinian underground, a certain Khalil, but no one could come to him. Then they develop a complex scheme. Young actress Charlie (Florence Pugh), we can say, unlucky - being a typical representative of the generation of the late 70s, she once visited a gathering of young extremists, where a young Palestinian spoke with an incendiary speech, who turned out to be Khalil's brother and bomber. It was there that Mossad agents noticed her and sent one of their own to her - Gadi Becker (Alexander Skarsgård), who even followed her and her friends to Greece, where he hit her, the guy he was prominent, not in vain. This was soon followed by her recruitment. For him, at first it was just work, but people are people, nothing human is alien to them, even spies, so that they, as they say, reached for each other, that such work clearly can not benefit. After that, the story began to gain momentum, all the organizers could not foresee, the methods of surveillance then, of course, were quite primitive, so the girl can only sympathize with what troubles she had to get, artistic abilities had to use constantly, and in extremely dangerous conditions, but she withstood. In the process of performing the task, her moral principles and feelings were tested, which sometimes were not easy for her. But this time it was not bad for them. I can’t say that I really liked this film version, in fact, I prefer to read le Carré, because after working enough time at MI5 and MI6, he owns the material and usually doesn’t write nonsense, which is what spy novels and detectives often do. Despite the very tense plot, the film is not very captivating, somehow a little painful places, although the actors playing the main characters are very good.
