Horror stories based on Indian beliefs are fertile ground. Unfortunately, it didn't work this time.
Attempts to turn the problem of dysfunctional families and domestic violence into a horror story also failed. The subject is raised, muzzle, but they cannot reveal it.
From the point of view of horror, too, everything is not smooth, first show, then explain in flashbacks, which definitely spoils the perception. And in the end, they break the logic of the behavior of the monster and the characters. The ending is crazy.
It is a pity that Indian mythology and Wendigo deserve clearly more.
