1948. Post-war Moscow. On the stage of the summer theater "Hermitage" goes unknown dance group. 14 young kolkhoz women in sarafans with birch branches in their hands. As soon as they start moving, the audience literally freezes – what happens on stage is incredible! It is as if the girls are floating over a wooden floor. It is not clear how they manage to do this... The next day, all of Moscow is talking about this miracle. A few years later, the whole world is talking about them! So came the legendary ensemble “Birch”.
