Young computer engineer Lily Chan investigates the secretive development division of her employer, a cutting-edge tech company based in San Francisco, which she believes is behind the murder of her boyfriend.
What was surprising to me was that the 8-episode season was too long for such a story. The intensity of passions is simply catastrophically lacking. These seem to be serious issues. It's a puff out.
The coolest moments are the dialogue with the boy on the bridge and the lecture at the university. There would be more moments like this and everything would not be so boring. And cut it in half :

You can pick on Devs. From talking about the absence of random events (hello to quantum fluctuations) to the potential size of a computer capable of what is shown in the series. But honestly, I don’t want to find fault. This is a movie with a very pleasant picture, a meditative pace of storytelling and philosophical overtones. The actors coped perfectly, everything in its place, did not notice falsehoods and overplays. Devs stands out from other TV shows for its unusual atmosphere and definitely not to be missed.
The series is not easy to understand, so not everyone will like it. The film raises questions of life and death in different manifestations, makes you think about the meaning of life.
