This film is not only about the fate of Russian hockey players in the Red Wings, it is about the fact that hockey unites people living a common dream, despite prejudices and political squabbles.
It was very interesting to learn how the "Russian five" gathered and ultimately influenced the style of play in the NHL. Just five players with a different mentality and thinking changed the course of events in the coolest hockey league in the world. I think it's amazing.
My sympathies for hockey began after I got acquainted with the TV series "Youth" and since then this sport has not left my mind, the more I learn about it, the more I admire.
I think this film is worth watching even for those who practically do not understand in detail the rules of the game, statistics, regulations, etc. The film is not about this, but about people’s desire to show what they are capable of.
