I'm not afraid of the word "masterpiece." A masterpiece is when in simple language you are shown (or explained to whom how close) things are so complex and deep that you are confused: "And how I did not think of this before." The word “love” has already been worn out by many. When the recommendations issued this option, I shrivelled: “fi, another soap drama, I will not watch, still so adored “Love Real” or “Four weddings and one funeral” no one will beat.” I was wrong. Modern Love, in my opinion, has more drama, but no tear. Even an ambiguous ending is seen as a happy ending. The acting was very impressive. Unexpected Anne Hathaway, madly surprised Tina Fey, touching Sofia Butella - you can list endlessly. Each of the actors brought their own note to this heady scent of Modern Love. There will be no Shakespearean passions, torturous scenes and significant speeches. As I said above, here the complexity of our lives and relationships is shown in all its simplicity, without all the superfluous things that usually distract us from the main thing - from love. Be it love for yourself, your imperfection, our relatives and friends and absolutely strangers, at first glance, people. For whom this series: first of all for romantics who are not alien to realism. There is no life in pink here, as there is no arthouse black. Second, it’s for people who love stories. Small stories, taken out of context, but no less understandable. Third, it is for those who are desperate or close to it. After watching, you will not run “to look for your love”, but just rejoice for those who have already found it and sympathize with those who have not yet been lucky. And then you just go to bed with a calm mind and confidence that as long as there are stories like this (whether on screen or in life), you should get up in the morning with a smile and move forward no matter what. Good and love, everyone! I'm looking forward to season two.
