Very strange work. It looks like a pilot project that never took off.
I would like to note that it was painted and voiced very well. A short video with the background of the world, added to the beginning is made very stylish and resourceful.
The world died in a nuclear war, survivors live in heavenly cities and after centuries of interbreeding with animals (probably for some reason) became real furriers. Some not very childish reference to children's visual style.
And then the story begins on its own. Children flew a seed from the surface and very suddenly wanted to look at the world left by their ancestors on the surface. Adults for some reason do not explore it, although it was not difficult to go down even for juniors - a mystery.
Then begins the attempt of the screenwriters to play in Created in the Abyss – the flora and fauna of the surface developed original and turned out to be beautiful and at the same time no less dangerous. Colorful caterpillars, large jellyfish with non-fatal electrodischarges (the cartoon, it seems, is still a baby), unknown fruits and a constant risk of poisoning.
That’s when children meet with the talking inhabitants of the world on the surface, the tone becomes completely blurred, there is a demonstration of the problems of the food chain and gambling, where the stake is life, and at the same time, an absolutely cheerful tone of the narrative.
The solution to the problem of local residents and completely puts in a stupor. Is that a joke? Is this for the little ones? Or is it a banter? An open ending with promises of new problems does not give a clear answer to this question.
The case when the plot can not determine the genre affiliation and age of its viewer. Perhaps these are the first timid attempts to create a “family black woman” that can be watched with children without fear for their mental health.
