Robots are excellent, the rest is doubtful Almost enough to brighten up the boredom, but not enough to feel that the last hour and a half of your life ' not flushed down the toilet ' In the near future, a drone pilot sent to a combat zone turns out to be the partner of a top-secret android officer, trying to prevent a nuclear attack.
Characters. The bad guy is so typical and boring (and the android is so 5 years old, could be more creative) how all the other characters in the film seem just props. All attention is only on the main characters, the secondary ones are not revealed in any way and do not receive development. In fact, the action of the film takes place at a moment where it is possible to see only the attempt of the development of Harp (in the Russian voiceover for some reason heard ' Karp'). When Emily Beecham's character, Sophia, appears, there may be something interesting here, but no, she's just there to tell you what's going on in the movie. And without it, it would probably be quite bad to understand what is happening there.
Script. Quite good dialogue, there are some interesting points. But the Balkans? In Ukraine? The speech of the civilian population is more similar to Polish than Ukrainian. Russian is spoken with a terrible Western accent, but the population understands English.
Overall, I love the fact that Anthony Mackie’s character is an android and the way technology has evolved. The film simply does not reveal the underlying themes, and the finale is absurd. There are some pretty decent fight scenes.
