The film manages to combine tough bandit showdowns, spectacular chases and a lyrical friendship line of the bandit Tae-gu, betrayed by his boss, and the terminally ill girl Jae-yeon. Dae-gu's entire family is killed by bandits, and Jae-yeon's only relative, her uncle, is also killed. As a result, the pair are forced to hold on to each other and resist a global conspiracy of clans covered by a corrupt policeman who have already decided for themselves the fate of Tae-gu.
A well-written script convexly denotes the idea of irretrievability of what is happening: if the clan declared war on you, then there will be no peace; if someone was wounded with a knife several times, then do not expect a miracle; if a girl is mortally ill, then you do not hope for improvement. The irrevocability enhances the effect of viewing and gives the relationship of Tae-gu and Jae-yeon a shade of deep sadness. The understanding of this irrevocability by the main characters gives them courage in relation to their death and strength, ten times greater than the enemy.
The disadvantage of the film should be attributed to the unsuccessful study of the characters of the leaders of gangsters - until the end it is unclear what to expect from each of them.
