Nikolai Makhutov entered the concentration camp at the age of seven, Claudia Nyuppieva at the age of nine, and Ksenia Olkhova at 13. During the Second World War, about 3 million children were found in camps, ghettos and prisons, most of them died. The survivors were severely exhausted and injured. In the film, former Nazi prisoners remember what they had to endure in those terrible years.
