With all the illogical and frankly delusional twists of the plot, I watched this series to the end. Strangely enough, I wanted to know how it would end. The script ridiculously mixed everything you can from other films, here you and "Saw" and "Lost" and inserts from zombie apocalypse, etc.
The series is built on the principle of 3 minutes action, then minutes for 15-20 conflicts or amorous affairs and stories of the characters about themselves and their views on life. The director is unstoppable, it seems that he considers it a coup, and each "player" will tell you his story whether you like it or not. This, probably, should have betrayed deep thinking to the film, but the "stories" of the characters look somehow fake and quickly get tired of listening to them.
In general, there are many falsehoods and inconsistencies. Many actors are frankly weak. Is Bortic really a professional actor? Her level is an amateur acting circle for beginners and Vernik is the leader of the circle. A scenario with big failures. In some places, the level of absurdity is skyrocketing. Some important things have never been explained.
Spoiler!!
Wernick’s speech about the fact that the organizers of the show did not kill anyone, allegedly, the players did it all. And rape? And drown people in a barrel of water? And the sheer number of actors killed?
