Italian detective mini-series (1 season, 8 episodes) "I will find you" ("I will look for you") / Io ti cercherò, 2019, directed by Gianluca Maria Tavarelli. As is often the case in Italian cinema, including detective films, this is not only a detective story, but also a family drama, after all, in Italy, family and family relations still play a rather large role, although, of course, there are changes. There is a tragedy, on the banks of the river found the corpse of a young boy Ettore (Luigi Fedel), allegedly found and witnesses that there was a suicide. All relatives are shocked, they kind of agree with the version of suicide at first, although nothing foreshadowed this and the guy was not one of those who goes for it. His friends and girlfriend can’t believe it. Father Ettore Valerio (Alessandro Gassmann) - a former police officer who was kicked out of the police, at first seemingly also agreed with this version, gradually begins to see a lot of inconsistencies in this case and decides to conduct his own investigation, in which he undertakes to help his former colleague and former love Commissioner of police Sarah (Maya Sansa). For both of them, this will cause a lot of trouble. Together they will gradually get to the truth, which will be very unsightly. The series, in principle, not bad, good actors in the lead roles, but the plot is a little too straightforward and declarative, especially in terms of proclaiming the need to preserve family and universal values, which in itself should not cause doubt, and tolerance, but it looks good.
