Richie's new project. Incredibly successful. Close to the impression produced by the series "In all seriousness". Only 8 episodes. I couldn't pull myself off until I saw the end.
Point.
Eddie (Theo James) is the Duke’s second son, who inherits the title, palace, estate and money. The older brother (a disgusting slacker) is experiencing this affront with scandal, but there is no hatred between the brothers. And along with his obstinate brother, Eddie gets an underground cannabis farm, which only their gamekeeper and the duke knew about. By the way, renting land for a farm was their only source of income.
This neighborhood former captain of the British Armed Forces Eddie does not like, and he tries to remove the farm from the estate. But the circumstances are such that he needed the help of drug dealers to protect his family and dissolute brother.
Eddie gradually gets involved in the drug business, gets into the taste. It is shown very elegantly, you can even say exquisite. The audience just admires Theo James as Eddie. The young owner of the drug network (Kaya Scodelario) owns twelve farms. There is nothing to complain about in the plot - everything is logically flawlessly linked, interesting and captures almost hopeless situations.
