Our days. A husband finds his wife murdered in a house for sale. She's a realtor. It's a family business. The investigation is taken by a homicide inspector, played by del Toro. He feels a lot of people are interested in the murder not being solved.
That's short. But the film runs for more than two hours in a very measured rhythm, slicked (in other words, you can not say) from individual episodes that do not help the viewer understand the overall picture. It would seem that it should be in the detective, but in this film mixed plots that do not belong to the investigation and only cause annoyance to the viewer with their stupidity.
Del Toro is as always, and does not bring much variety to the disclosure of the plot. As a result, it never became clear to me who killed the realtor, although the group of criminals was identified at the end of the film. And most importantly, it is not very clear the essence of the criminal conspiracy in which she found herself.
The most original: the inspector shot the whole pack. Funny...
