Early 20s. Jantai and the hero Mergen, residents of one of the mountain villages of Uzbekistan, go to Moscow to order a monument to Lenin to the capital sculptor and deliver him to his village. To fulfill the order of fellow villagers, the heroes are helped by the homeless Grishka, who pestered them in the capital. When, accompanied by the police, all together, finally went to the village, on one of the mountain paths, the heroes were attacked by a gang of Basmachi Abidkhon, staring at the boxes.
