The film adaptation of another (after the “Premium” and “Feedback”) “production” Gelman’s play, all with the same tried-and-tested plot scheme: in a typical labor collective, one is found (not large, but not too small) not indifferent, beating the alarm about the shortcomings observed at the place of work – and finding a response from someone from high-ranking authorities who delves into the situation and imbued with his concern. In this case, the “production” passions are heated up to a long scuffle, police interference and jumping out of the train through the coupe window, which looks – with the protagonist calling himself a “thinking fool” – a little as if over the edge. Hollywood people later adopted the idea of scripted cloning, spawning a series about Terminators with fights more spectacular.
Interesting acting work: very organic bamboo-Yankovsky, in his corporate role is irreplaceable Nikolai Parfyonov, characteristic then types were successful Yuri Yakovlev and Clara Luchko. The fabric of the film is decorated, as they were able to do in Soviet cinema, with a weighty diamond of the song - "The Noise of Birches" performed by Galina Nenasheva - under a video sequence with a stunning acting without words, such an art of conveying mental states now in Russian cinema looks lost.
