A great journey into the heart. I'm not a big fan of documentary films. Especially nature. But after seeing the trailer on the Kinopoisk, I wanted to see this movie.
When I bought my ticket, I thought, What am I doing? I pay that kind of money (I went to IMAX 3D) for 81 minutes (!) of a documentary, which then maybe will be shown on TV.
Now, sitting at home, I do not regret a minute spent on this film. On the contrary, I want to watch it again.
It’s not because there are beautiful, beautiful people. Not because literally from the first shot almost the whole hall began to sympathize with the turtle and worry about her fate.
The film touched my heart, my soul. When the footage showed water covered with a film of oil, I cried. Me! Who never cried in a movie. Even watching the Titanic, I didn't cry! I couldn't stop here.
When I left the room, I looked for the reason for this manifestation of feelings.
Now I understand.
In all the movies, watching scenes calculated by smart (sometimes not very) people, I know that it is not true, that it is a lie, a deception, a falsehood. Then I realized clearly: "It's true."
After the movie, I heard a lot of people in the audience say, ‘Yes, you have to go to this website.’ Something needs to be done.” I was so pleased. I realized that these are movies that people have to go to in droves.
I won’t say much about the movie itself.
Great soundtrack! With the help of music, all those emotions are conveyed that the turtle could not tell us. I am already looking for a full list of songs to download it to the player and listen to, listen to and listen to again.
Yulia Rutberg's voice? I tried to ignore her. She just walked like a background. I don't know if it was right to put her here. But she didn't bother. This is the most important thing, because all attention could be focused on the stunning underwater shooting.
There was only a small minus. Very tiny. Some of the staff were pretty sharp cut off. Maybe I should have made a little soft transitions. But that's what I say when I get home. I didn't think about it in the room. I enjoyed it.
I wish there were more movies like that.
Movies that do not hunt for the money of the viewer, for the creation of which are not potty producers, calculating profits.
We need more movies for people.
