In the Soviet film of the thirties "Ball and Heart" the plot is associated with two football teams: "Hammer" competes with rivals from the "Anvil". Soon the decisive match, all the forces go to training. But then the captain of the Hammer Sasha Savchenko, played by Peter Sobolevsky, falls in love with Alexander Savchenko (Galina Sergeeva). They don’t know each other, and instead of spending energy preparing for the game, he tries to conquer a pretty stranger who works in kindergarten. Will the newfound love help to win over opponents or will it become an obstacle for the captain?
