In your youth, you were fans of Blood Sports (Jean-Claude Van Damme), Blood Fist 2 (Don "Dragon" Wilson), Circoverty (another name for "Whirlwind" with Olivier Gruner) or Blood Ring (Dale "Apollo" Cook), empathized with the heroes of "Showdown" (Billy Blanks and Ken McLeod) or "Kickboxer in College" (again McLeod). Or maybe you missed all these movies, but at least saw a reissue of Karate Kid with Jackie Chan? Even if not, no problem! Watch the series "Furious" (aka "Kokzhal"). The influence of all the above pictures in the Kazakhstan series is definitely there. True, all this is diluted with love and tears. You should not watch people with a delicate psyche, because in the film there are quite a lot of scenes of child abuse (bullying). The main character Yerbol meets on his way not just hooligans, but real professional athletes who know well where to beat to inflict maximum injury to their peers. There are also scenes of violence (not sexual, but physical) against women, or rather one woman, a heroine named Aisha. So 12+ is clearly not enough for a movie like this. I'd like 16+ or 18+. Another viewer will meet in the series such a terrible custom as lullaby collusion. Remember what this is? Remember who read the legend of "Koza Korpesh and Bayan Sulu". In this movie, the opposite is true: the girl’s father, considering himself indebted to a deceased friend, intends to marry his daughter, sacrifice her, even knowing that his friend’s son is a real villain. Kazakh viewers liked the series because the second season has already been filmed. And in the film a lot of unmotivated actions of the heroes. I’m not going to tell you, you will understand everything if you watch at least the first couple of episodes. The film was unambiguously worthwhile, slightly compiled and yet at times quite violent. And yes, there are Russian subtitles in the series. So, it will certainly arouse interest among some viewers studying Kazakh (or Russian) languages.
