Together they come on the trail of the Nazi surgeon, the Volga German Herman Schultz, who during the war conducted medical experiments on prisoners in the transfer camp "Peski-2". In 1944, the leadership and staff of the camp disappeared without a trace. Schultz is one of them. Terrible murders continue: the criminal’s handwriting in many of them is similar, but important details do not coincide, and Eliseev hesitates. Meanwhile, another dangerous Nazi criminal, Alex Lyuty, is in jail. Maybe he knows something about Schultz and could be useful to the investigation.
