I'm at my mother's wrestler Holly believes that her mother loves her brother much more than she does. So when Nick drops out of their wrestling studio, driving her boss mom to a fit, she decides to prove something to everyone and assembles a team of losers to save their family business. Together with veteran wrestling Cliff, thug Ben, stage-frightened Jack, charismatic cosplayer Berta, zooming Mia and loser Woodhouse, admiring his wrestler father, they will try to save ' Boss Pro Wrestling' from closing and help Holly fulfill her main dream - to enter the ring.
An uncomplicated story about overcoming physical features and fettering fears, including parental (non-)approval. The best part of the project is a set of bright characters - the actors play well predictable dialogues and plot twists, staging artistic fights also looks good. Many jokes are below the belt, but we usually do not expect anything different from low-budget British comedies.
You can watch the whole series in two hours. The second season was written, but low ratings prevented it from going into production. The creators of the series, Max Olesker and Ivan Gonzalez, who played the roles of Jack and Woodhouse, blame the coronavirus for the failure: the shooting was postponed all the time, the cast changed. Given these difficulties, the project was lucky to see the light of day.
