In the early 12th century, the northern Jurchen tribe grew so strong that they subjugated half of China, established their Jin kingdom there, and even captured the capital of the Song Empire. Chinese Chancellor Qin Gui arrives at the border to talk about something with the Jurchen, but does not have time, as the envoy Jin is killed and an important letter from the Jin ruler addressed to Gui disappears. Gui, whose stigma is in the cannon, understands that the letter should not fall into the hands of enemies, so he sends everyone who only caught him to search for a compromising letter.
And the military got his hands on him. This group begins an investigation, which is given two hours. If they don't, they'll all be executed. And if they find it and read it, death too.
The film impresses with intrigue, plot twists and looks like a spiral that is twisted, twisted, and in the final it straightens, killing a lot of people. Shakespearean passions. The clash of enemies and patriots, cruelty, dedication, loyalty to duty - everything in this film is shown under great stress.
Duration of 2.5 hours. The only problem is remembering the names of the characters.
