Very inventive story, a good acting game. .
Quite a lot of jokes and phrases, sometimes quite subtle. Like when an investigative heroine talks to the FSB about a murder committed with some poison.
“We really don’t like killing with illegal substances,” says the FSB. Yes? And I thought that on the contrary, love..." answers the heroine.
But something's missing. The dark magic session was quite convincing, but its full exposure was not very convincing. . .
Quite a typical technique - when any mysticism and incomprehension in the end is explained by the mental disorder of the main character. here you can recall the "Heart of an Angel", and "Island of the Damned", and "fight club" in the end. . . But when the mental disorder of the hero revealed at the end turns everything upside down, but the mysticism is still not removed - this seems to be a new word in cinema. But it's a pretty goofy and leaves you feeling like you've not just been cheated, you've been cheated twice.
