The story of photographer Mundek Lukavecki and his wife Hannah Bern, who joined Polish guerrillas during World War II and moved to Israel after the war. It all begins when Simon, the 65-year-old son of Mundek and Hannah, stumbles upon a photo of his parents he hasn't seen before and decides to sort through his family's history. As Simon delves into their past, he learns that his father and mother were commanders of a Polish partisan unit during the Holocaust.
