“Beshbarmak” is a comedy that tells about the cook Daulet, working in a roadside cafe. One day, a famous restaurateur from Almaty comes to the cafe, and Daulet has to wriggle out to impress the guest. He serves beshbarmak made by his grandmother, and the dish is so delicious that the restaurateur invites Daulet to work.

The film is full of funny moments, especially when Doulet tries to learn how to cook beshbarmak as well as his grandmother.

In the process, Daulet not only improves his skills, but also finds friends and meets his love. In the end, Daulet realizes that the secret of success is not only in skill, but also in love for their work and respect for traditions.

Kazakhs still argue about the correct name of the dish, made in the title of the picture: "meat in Kazakh" or "besbarmak". Literally, the name of the food of national cuisine is translated as it is said in the film "five fingers of the hand". And also about bezbarmak there is a saying: "Eat a net, sorpa betka" (Meat gives strength, broth adds beauty to the face). The plot of the film, in our unprofessional view, is mediocre, but people who study Kazakh spoken language can look. At the time of writing the comment, the film can be found in free access in a real "blind eye" quality (for a more objective assessment, it is better to wait for the normal quality of the picture and sound).
