Eighteen-year-old Tom is a shy and lonely nerd living in a small French town. To take his mind off the day-to-day routine of caring for a sick mother and working at his father's gas station, he devotes himself to his passion: drones. One day, Tom meets a group of young people who are also passionate about drones. For Tom, this encounter is magical: he finally feels like he's met people like him, like he belongs to something in the world. However, he does not know what the consequences of this friendship are.
