This is the only film where Marilyn Monroe was shot outside of America and by her personal film company, after the release of the tape – the company ceased to exist.
I recommend before watching this naive (in our time) romantic comedy to read the original – the play by Terence Rattigan “The Sleeping Prince”.The movie turned out, in my opinion, too sentimental, although it is Lawrence Olivier who gives it status. And Marilyn, this is Marilyn -- she's the same everywhere.
A one-time movie is worth it. Although the finale is readable and sad, the overall concept of the film is designed in the style of harmony, naturalness. I recommend it. 👠
