For me, the Garden is not a movie, it’s a picture that you can’t watch for 5 minutes, but you have to watch for an hour and a half... and it changes and it has an audio track. This is pure art without the desire to entertain the viewer. But as a viewer of this picture, I got completely different emotions while watching. There is anger and joy, and fear and almost Nirvanic calm, and optimism and hopelessness.
The only reason I can’t say 5 is that I’m constantly referring to religion (specifically Christianity). Perhaps this picture has become much less clear to me because of this. I know that for most people in European countries, Christianity is a common mythology, but for me personally, it made viewing literally a little worse.
