The novella is recorded on the first cassette of the television series Hunger. Talented people one by one commit suicide when they are abandoned by a certain Helen Borno blonde in a red cape and a hat whose face no one can see. A journalist investigates a sinister chain of deaths to warn the world of danger. He sees her face as the embodiment of all desires. He goes to her and falls from a great height.
