Gold Medal of the President of the Senate at the IFF in Venice in 1998.
Khurshed, a blind boy living in a Tajik village in Iran, makes a living for himself and his mother by tuning musical instruments. It works well, but the owner is dissatisfied with it because of Khurshed’s constant delays. And if the boy is fired, the mother will not be able to pay for housing. But what to do if the blind Khurshed has his own world and, it turns out, he is more colorful and subtle than people with sight - this is the main theme of this touching and unusually beautiful film.
