The film accurately conveys the specifics of time (with its characteristic sounds - and the famous lambada, and the undying masterpieces of "Tender May") - that couple of years in the very end of the USSR, when the Party suddenly dissolved as a mirage, and there were free people in a severely damaged country (with a pre-thunderstorm feeling), and before the crystallization of new clutches was still very far away. The young heroes of the film, especially the boy-girl - quite a hippie in the late Soviet manner, Petrovich next to them - a fragment of a bygone era, suitable for life in new realities only as a bum (until meeting the first slippery stone). The episode with the pig recalled the participation at about the same time in the night eating of his relative in the stoker of the military unit No. **, taunted by his comrades from the pigsty of this military unit (because in the Soviet army, with an abundance of tanks and missiles, the feeding of soldiers was a bit bad).
The film once flashed on television, caught in the memory as something worthwhile. About this film, clearly forgotten undeservedly, we can say at least that it is qualitatively made. Amazingly, there is no article in all-knowing Wikipedia about this film or about the director (Vyacheslav Kolegaev).
