It seems like a good idea. The boy from the orphanage is transferred to the future and there he meets his future family, which he really likes. This makes him stop lamenting what happened to him in the past when his mother left him, and believe that he can create his own friendly family.
I agree, the story is instructive, perhaps it could make a more interesting cartoon. But I did not like what the creators of this cartoon did.
Most of the characters caused me a mixed reaction. Especially the man who wears a doll and thinks it's his wife. And everyone plays along with him. Does he have schizophrenia? I know it’s a joke, but I don’t think it’s funny. In general, in this cartoon, unlike many other creations of the Disney studio, I saw very little funny.
I didn’t like the way the robot was painted. The villain in the black pot made me antipathy. In cartoons, in my opinion, even negative characters should be created with some irony, and this one caused only negative emotions.
In general, I barely forced myself to watch this cartoon to the end, all the while hoping that it would be interesting. But that never happened.
