British style Three young friends are very gamblers. They are constantly betting on dog derbys. The main character, a young guy named Mo Hara, has a belief that the player can outplay the bookmaker. But no matter how hard they try, they constantly “get” money. And one time like this, they go 50. The £000 they are due back in the near future. To earn this money, they go to the neighboring Republic of Ireland, where they have all sorts of fun troubles.
British comedies can be seen from a mile away, as can Italian or French comedies. This film is not purely comedy, especially youth, but with a bias towards crime, fraud. That is, the same thing that a director like Guy Ricci offered us in his films Snatch. and Cards, money and two barrels.
Yes, this film does not reach the level of the above pictures. But it still looks fresh and pleasant. In the film there is a lot of funny troubles, which is not even a sin to laugh.
I don’t know what the film lacks to perfection, whether it’s this resemblance to other films, or something else. But the movie is worth watching.
