The documentary short film Pohn Talay takes viewers to Mahachai, a city less than an hour’s drive from Bangkok. It is known for the fact that there are many enterprises of the fish processing industry. The focus of the film is Wawa Kai, a Burmese immigrant worker who wakes up, brushes her teeth and takes a cold shower. She goes to work in a factory where she has to classify squid and shrimp all day according to their size. But she's not feeling well today and has to tell her bosses.
