|
Omar Khayyam was one of the greatest poets of the East and a brilliant mathematician. Although his quatrains were written in the 11th century, they are still popular. He is the creator of a new calendar more accurate than the Gregorian. The film is based on the legends of three classmates - Nizam, Omar and Hasan, who agreed to help each other throughout their lives, about Omar's affair with the bride of the Shah (from the Great Seljuk dynasty of Persia) and the disruption of the Assassin sect plot to kill the heir to the throne of Malik.
