The film is a typical modern American comedy. That is, jokes here are mostly "below the belt." This typical flaw, or rather, the fact that Americans do not know how to make subtle jokes on sexual topics, spoils the picture. No, some of these jokes are pretty good, like trying to lull the vigilance of bandits through striptease, or a scene codenamed "swingers involuntarily." But sometimes the sense of taste and measure is denied to the screenwriters completely - as in the scene with the Mexican "traffic cop"-pervert. It seems that this part of the script was written by a sexually disturbed teenager.
It’s all the more embarrassing because the film is generally not stupid and quality. 100% of the possibilities are squeezed out of the given concept, the actors play perfectly, the camera work contributes its share of the drive. And the idea in it is very unexpected - how completely strangers can become one family? No problem! How do new families actually emerge? Same thing. Love is stronger than blood relationship. Friends are often closer to relatives.
Bottom line: despite the dubious humor of some scenes, it would be hypocritical to say that the film is bad - I laughed from the heart. Impressions about as from "South Park" - witty humor "on the verge of foul" often this very edge crosses and turns vulgar. However, as I said, the mood of the film was lifted, and this is the most important thing.
