"The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer" The former military is facing financial difficulties at a time when he desperately needs money, because his wife is sick and she needs expensive treatment. After checking his contribution to the investment where all his savings were invested, he discovers that he has been cheated. Now, not only will he not get his money back, he also owes a round sum to the company that cheated him. The loop begins to tighten and he is fired from work, threatening to also take the house for debts. Our hero is in complete despair and decides on an ambiguous act. He buys an assault rifle, a couple of pistols, a grenade, a bunch of ammunition and decides to punish dirty scammers by stuffing their bodies with a portion of lead and shrapnel.
Uwe Ball shot a movie on a rather relevant topic. We all remember America’s endless news coverage of gunshots by desperate people who lost everything during the crisis. Capitalism is ruthless. And even more ruthless are the people who pull the dollar strings of this system. There's no escape from that. We can all fall victim to this corrupt system.
It was a good movie, especially the first half. Tension builds with each shot. We are forced to watch as the common man is simply destroyed. You sincerely empathize with the hero and therefore the feelings are not the most pleasant. The second half of the film is already weaker. In some places, the action sags and it becomes boring to watch. The ending was better.
Operator work with the usual Bollovsk shaking, but at least my head is not dizzy, and many plans came out very successfully. The music is good, but it could have been better. If we talk about acting, then of course, here in the foreground
Dominic Purcell, which in my opinion, despite all its stoneness of the face with the role copes quite successfully. I also remember Edward Furlong as a good friend of the main character and John Hurd as the head of a company that brazenly robbed ordinary people. At least they don't ruin the picture.
As a result, it turned out that the devil is not as terrible as it is painted! First "
Fury," now "Mochilovo on Wall Street." Ball can make movies, however.
