From real events. Daniele Barilla is an ordinary entrepreneur who is preparing to propose to his girlfriend, but suddenly he finds himself in prison. He's being charged with drug trafficking. The only evidence turned out to be the number and brand of Daniele's car, because of which the police mistook him for a wanted large drug dealer. There are several trials that have resulted in Daniele being sentenced to 15 years in prison. Only after 7 years, the defense seeks a review of the case, as a result of which Daniele is released.
