The national drama "Paradise Tabs" with Chulpan Khamatova in the main roles was filmed based on the play of the outstanding playwright Alexander Vampilov “Duck Hunting”. Such as Victor Zilov, called the favorites of fortune. The careless lucky man is envied by many, because he has a great job in a large news agency, a cozy house and an ideal lover Galina, with whom he lived in an official marriage for 6 years. The authorities appreciate the web developer, the friends of the soul in him do not revere, and women do not give the passage to a charming lucky man. Marriage ties do not prevent an IT specialist from spinning romances on the side and taking the best from life. A pragmatic careerist is inclined to commit meanness without thinking about moral norms, values and moral prohibitions.
Once the hero receives a certificate from the company for living space in an elite complex. But a smile of luck soon becomes a curse, and Victor finds himself embroiled in a hated apartment issue. He has to pay for life in the bushes of the local provincial paradise, conform to the elite and lie in order to maintain his status in the club of celestials. But attempts to start life from scratch fail, and a new position and another lover-provincial do not bring happiness. For comfort you have to pay too high a price.
The young man does not leave the feeling of impending disaster. Obsessive thoughts become pathological. Paranoid tendencies lead to self-destruction. It seems to the character that everything can be corrected only in one way - getting a funeral wreath during life. What's going to make a guy take that step? Why is it so hard for him to accept gifts? What is he willing to sacrifice for salvation?
The premiere of the drama took place at the 37th International Moscow Film Festival as part of the Special Screenings program. For the filming of the film, the prosperous village of Sukhanovo in European style was chosen, presented on the screen as a densely populated city with a touch of chic. Creating the film “Paradise Tabs”, the director tried to find a metaphor that would reflect the problems of modern man. His goal was to show not material, but spiritual poverty and the craze of compatriots to break into the cream of society. close

Since early childhood Peter has been obsessed with the world of puppets, but his greater obsession is with a real girl, Lisa. He crafts his perfect woman out of her. But Lisa isn't a docile marionette. She's a living human being and she rebels against her creator. Based on the critically-acclaimed, brilliant and poignant novel by one of the best contemporary Russian writers, Dina Rubina, "Petrushka Syndrome" is a multidimensional metaphor, where a sense of duality pervades everything. People and dolls, life and art, the Creator and the creation depend on one another. And where does one draw the line between them? close
