Junta is a short feature film set in Argentina in the late 1970s, during a military dictatorship. In 1977, a military junta took Maria’s family hostage in an attempt to arrest political enemies. Maria's best friend, Bertha, is killed by the military, and Maria stays with her child. Thirty years later, Maria and Ariel, whom she raised as her son, are trying to get justice for their loved ones and friends who disappeared more than 30 years ago.
