The French film "Yellow-Eyed Crocodiles", directed by Cecile Tellerman, 2014. Passes the category of dramas, but shot without pressure, as the French can, besides, the actors are good - in the lead roles of Julie Depardieu, Emmanuel Bear, Patrick Bruel. In one family, two sisters grew up (and have grown up, matured and acquired families and children) completely different in nature. One of them is a rather intelligent, but not very confident Josephine, a specialist in the history of the 12th century, married unsuccessfully, her husband cheats on her, in the end she kicks him out, and he goes with his mistress to Africa to breed yellow-eyed crocodiles. Her sister - Iris - on the contrary, a very confident person, very successfully married and prosperous, once already caught in her youth on a dishonest act, again chips off the number - she tells everyone that she began to write a novel, she does not succeed, then she persuades her sister to write a novel for her. The sister succumbs, but then events become unpredictable - the novel becomes a bestseller. I won’t tell the whole story of who wants to see it, especially since, as it appears from the assessments on the KP, some highly appreciated it, despite the not very high official rating. I liked the movie, too. He's so slightly feminine, but quite psychologically accurate in terms of human relationships.
